Giles Wilson is delighted to announce the appointment of our head of non-contentious matters, Melinda Giles, to The Law Society Private Client Section Executive Committee.
The Private Client Section Executive Committee is the oldest representative membership association of the Law Society, having been established in 1997. The Committee provides support to solicitors in England and Wales who are involved in all areas of private client work, including probate, elderly client advice, Lasting Powers of Attorney and some areas of property law.
As a member of the Executive Committee, Melinda will be responsible for helping to develop the future strategy of the Section, advising parliamentary debate to any changes in the law, as well as looking at the continuing needs of solicitors practising in this area and the needs of their clients.
Melinda has already established herself as an expert in a number of areas of private law, including Lasting Powers of Attorney – where she is a Panel Deputy for the Court of Protection – and Elderly Client Advice – where she is an Associate Member of Solicitors for the Elderly and a Mencap-recommended will writer.
If you need expert advice on any private client issue, a free introductory consultation with Melinda is only a phone call away. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch by calling 01702 477106 or emailing email@example.com.
