Spotlight on Family Team

Our Family Law team is led by Philip Giles who has over 25 years of experience in dealing with all aspects of family law; from complex financial settlements on a divorce or separation to claims for family dependency on a probate matter to a claim for family provision on a breakdown of a relationship involving children.

He heads a team of strong women;

Leah Ellis is an Associate in our team dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown and bringing a unique experience of advising families with children with additional needs, ensuring that the needs of the children and their carers are met in the most difficult of times.

Melissa Leyland has 8 years’ experience of supporting and advising individuals as they split from their partner and need to resolve both their entwined and complicated finances, property and pensions as well as their children and living arrangements.

Chloe Sherman-Botten is our trainee in the Family Tree who attends court and supports all our lawyers whilst herself learning from the best to advise clients at their times of need in broken family situations.

Anyone of the above is able to help advise in the first instance; pick up the phone and call 01702 477106 if you need to speak to a family lawyer.
