Making the move to your dream home can be both an exciting and stressful time, with a minefield of legal issues to navigate – from title deeds to stamp duty. But our residential conveyancing experts can take care of all legal aspects and ensure a seamless move.
At Giles Wilson, our property experts can help buyers and sellers in all aspects of residential conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold property, registered and unregistered titles, remortgages and buy-to-let transactions. We're a member of the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme, which means that we are listed on the solicitors' panel of every high street lender. No matter what lender you choose to take out a mortgage with, they'll be more than happy to work with us.
What's more, we are able to register clients' titles with the Land Registry electronically. This means that we only incur half of the costs associated with postal registration – savings that we pass on to our clients – and registration only takes two hours instead of two weeks.
We recognise that buying a house is probably the biggest financial commitment you will ever make. That's why we strive to put you first, understand your needs, speak plainly and keep you up-to-date at all times throughout the process until successful completion.
With a wealth of experience handling properties throughout Central London, Southend and the South East Essex area, our conveyancing solicitors will endeavour to handle everything on your behalf. The Giles Wilson team tuned in as Chancellor Rachel Reeves delivered the 2025 Autumn Budget yesterday. The expertise of our solicitors is regularly recognised by some of the profession’s most distinguished organisations. As well as being a member of a number of Law Society schemes, we have won awards at the Law Society Excellence Awards, the Halsbury Legal Awards and the Modern Law Awards.
We have also received recognition in the form of the Lexcel mark of quality, a Legal 500 listing and a place on the shortlist of The Lawyer’s Boutique Firm of the Year.
