Roy is the Partner who heads the firm’s Commercial Team, and has been qualified as a solicitor since 2003. For commercial individuals and businesses, his practical yet creative approach makes him the ‘go to’ lawyer. He regularly puts clients together to enable them to further their business ambitions.
Roy has a detailed knowledge of key commercial areas, including sales and acquisitions and contract law, as well as niche areas of aviation law and sports law. Roy also has a substantial employment law practice, most of it handling complex cases.
He has an in-depth knowledge of the local business community, stretching across Essex and into London, and acts for many prominent businesses and individuals. In addition, he acts for large national and multi-national organisations. He is fluent in French, speaks Arabic, and was educated at the University of London and University of British Columbia, Canada. Initially trained at Clifford Chance in the City, Roy was then a Partner for 8 years at another prominent Essex firm, before moving to Giles Wilson in January 2017.

While uncommon, asking for someone else to be substituted into a Court claim is certainly possible.
